I am a (BA, Anthropology, U Iowa; AM, PhD, Anthropology,
U Illinois-Urbana) and currently, an associate research scientist
in the College of Public Health
as well as
an
adjunct associate professor in the Department of
Anthropology,
the Department of Community &
Behavioral Health and
the Department of Occupational &
Environmental Health at the
University of Iowa. My
research focuses on human variation and adaptability. My
publications address issues ranging
from
plagiocephaly to Pacific prehistory.
In addition, I am been a vocal proponent of
using the Internet to
share information and, since 1998, the sole
proprietor of
Kelly Webworks -- currently managing over 100 websites and 500 domain names
(from theAnthropologistintheField.com to
WarfarinTherapy.com).
Through
Kelly Webworks, I
have assisted numerous
not-for-profits and small businesses
establish a presence on the Internet.
